KONI Stomach Soother Tea with Mint

INGREDIENTS: * 4 tsp of Koni Stomach Soother tea * 2 cups of boiling water * 1 piece fresh ginger, root about 1 inch in size * 1/2 cup packed fresh mint leaves
DIRECTIONS:
1. Wash and peel ginger root. Cut into thin slices. 2. Bring a pot of water to boil over high heat. 3. Add ginger, mint and 4 tsp of KONI Stomach Soother in an KONI 2 cup teapot filter. Add the boiling water. 3. Let steep for 10-20 minutes. 4. Serve with honey if desired.
Morning Sickness Tonic

INGREDIENTS:
2 C KONI Stomach Soother
1/4 tsp honey
3 thin slices of fresh ginger
squeeze of lemon
Some variations of Rooibos tea that contain extra herbs such as rosemary should be avoided during pregnancy because it may cause uterine contractions. Be sure to read the label to make sure that there are no additional herbs added to Rooibos teas. Check ingredients and always check with your doctor.
